Smitha has over a decade of experience in General Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets, with diverse backgrounds in a leading Indonesian boutique law firm as well as an international affiliated law firm in Indonesia. Her tenure in two multinational listed companies has strengthened and widened her practical approaches to handling transactions.​

Having worked extensively in the corporate sector, Smitha possesses a deep knowledge of corporate law, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks. Her expertise in General Corporate matters allows her to provide strategic advice on a wide range of legal issues and navigate complex M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, and contract drafting, ensuring favourable outcomes for their clients.​

Prior to Kyora, one of the selected major transactions she was involved in was tower sales transaction of Indonesia's leading mobile operator in connection with the sale of 2,500 telecommunications towers across the country through an auction. This complex deal requires the participation of multiple stakeholders in large numbers for the transfer of assets and contracts as her expertise in this area was evident as she effortlessly navigated complex legal documents, contracts, and regulations, ensuring that the company’s interests were protected.​

Smitha is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and she is a member of HKHSK (formerly HKHPM) and is registered with Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) as a Capital Market Lawyer. She is also registered as a Receiver and Administrator in bankruptcy cases with the Indonesian Association of Receivers and Administrators (IKAPI).​
